Being in the photo can be challenging. It’s something that women, in particular, struggle with. And I can’t even imagine what it’s like to be born into a world of selfies from day one. In this episode, we talk about the challenges and internal conversations we have with ourselves and how we overcome them.
As bloggers, Samara and I take photos of ourselves on a regular basis. That doesn’t mean that we are immune to that feeling of not being good enough. WE AREN’T. It takes something to address that conversation with yourself so that you can be present in your own life.
Trust me, you’re going to want those photos one day.
And if not you, your family will.
Stop beating yourself up for not being perfect or feeling comfortable. Start changing your mind. It’s a genuine act of self-care to be present and documented in the life you are living. No matter your shape or size, your current weight or conditioning. Trust me, I’ve never once regretted having a photo taken but there have been plenty of times I’ve regretted missing out.
Anyway, take a listen, go easy on yourself, tweet me if you want to chat. Love, Suger x
